ABOUT US

Birmingham & West Midlands LFC had an incredible season in 2014-2015. We completed the League and Cup double, topping the West Midlands Premier Division. Since then we have not looked back and established ourselves within the FA Women's Midlands Division 1 League, finishing sixth (15/16 Season) and joint forth (16/17 Season), which after the disappointing start we had was a great and inspiring achievement.

The 2017-2018 season seen us relocate to Castle Vale F.C. The Vale Stadium, Farnborough Rd, Castle Vale, B35 7NH to play our home games and train on the newly laid artificial 4G pitch. We're excited to begin our partnership with CVFC and working with them to build a girl's and women's academy, starting with bringing the under 18's CV girls section under wing as our development and feeder section. We reached our first ever senior cup final in the 2017-2018 season and finished in a respectable 9th position after a difficult start to the season.

As always we welcome new faces on and off the field to join our incredible football family. We are an FA Charter Standard club and pride ourselves on being a diverse, community based friendly, professional club with an excellent team ethos and togetherness amongst the squad and management team.

We have an excellent, professional set up which consists of a Manager, Coach, Sports Therapists, including a developing partnership with MR Sports Therapy and a dedicated, motivated Committee who arrange the clubs finances, funding, sponsorship and social events.

18/19 seasons sees us partner with the university of Birmingham , particularly the women’s football section. We shall be joining forces in terms of coaches, players and general development of both BWMLFC and the university women’s football section not just offering playing opportunities but volunteer opportunities for students also. We aim to grow the game across the West Midlands and offer our joint management team continuous professional development opportunities throughout the season in order to enhance the work they deliver to the squad thus offering fantastic development to players.

We are delighted to announce Marcus Webber as our head coach, Shaun Green as our assistant coach and head GK coach and Erika Mole as the head of performance. Helen Carver will remain as the clubs general manager.
